Let's begin with a Bible for weight loss motivate: START HERE
1 John 1:7-9
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin,[no temptation or a desire that is destructive] we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, [our real struggles to God] he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Let’s start by thinking for a minute. What got us out of shape in the first place?
Well I believe we lack the knowledge of the benefits God has waiting for us. So what's important is that we seek and be willing to make the changes that are needed to reshape our thinking. The way we do this is by practicing self-knowledge and daily inviting spiritual insight by reading scripture. God's word will give you the strength to take care of your health and lose weight with a new attitude. That's why reading bible verses will help tremendously when you are seeking inner-healing to avoid food temptation and finally keep the weight off.
It took years of me coming and going, falling into my binge eating while completing ignoring the facts that held me bound. I was refusing to pay attention to WHY I was eating too much at times and too little to cause my body, my mind in my habits to get way out of shape. I know and understand how hard it is to get real.
It's all about getting to the point to admit that you have to stop and look at the distorted thinking pattern that keeps you doing the same thing over and over again. Maybe “time” is your excuse. Speaking about time...when I came to the realization that healing takes time, I found myself more patient in the process and the frustration began to slip away.
Your spirit of lack needs the power of the holy spirit that has the power to change you. Now I don't want you to take this lightly. The kind of change I'm talking about, is the change of miracles. Miracles do happen when we take the time to cultivate the very foundation of our being. We need to carefully examine self-knowledge and ask God to instill in us HIS WISDOM.
If you are stuck right now and want to get going with your weight loss program like the rest of us Christian women and you want to get serious. Right? well then I believe you are looking for a miracle. God is a God of miracles! He is the ONLY one that will change you physically emotionally and spiritually.
It all begins by realizing it was a spirit of lack of self-knowledge and lack of spiritual insight that got us out of shape (in every way shape and form) in the first place. We need to keep this front and center as we dedicate our life to our commitment to following a new way that will lead us to new desires. Are you READY to take on the challenge?

I turn to you in prayer and declare in your holy name that I may be willing to prepare myself for a miracle by seeking new insight that you may shed new light upon my path to victory.
But, wait! Don't leave without a positive thought for the day!
I deeply miss the days when I trained (thousands) of my students fitness and wellness for years... So, here it goes, this is how I would always close my classes:
"And now it's time to close with a positive thought for the day because it's important for me to remind you and myself as well that we have done the best possible thing for ourselves “just for today”. Because with each day brings new challenges and so I want to leave you with a positive thought."
