Sugar is bad for people of all shapes and sizes. Now before I begin to dive into the list of dangers associated with consuming all forms of refined sugar, I want to bring an important message to the table regarding individuals of all shapes and sizes here. It is common for most folks who have a faster metabolism to think they can eat anything they want because they don't see the consequences when they look in the mirror.

Truth is, there is a real danger for individuals who don't seem to have much concern about eating unhealthy food. We see our teens and young adults drink more soft drinks with added sugar and as well as high levels of caffeine. We are seeing individuals who are under the demand of a busy lifestyle using these drinks for an added boost.

Another group of individuals who struggle to get off of sugar are our seniors. Most seniors who have a faster than average metabolism love to have their sweets. They have been eating their specials treats so long they don't want to part from them or give new foods a try. The dangers exist because seniors are battling a higher risk of developing health issue's and so we see Type 2 Diabetes conditions worsening and a higher risk of getting sick.
