3 Keys to overcome food temptation
*** In this video I will discuss how to stop eating junk food for good using our faith. We need to grow strong on the inside through growth and development in order to achieve strength to resist craving junk food For Good! So I am stressing upon personal growth and development to shape and change who we are on the inside and then weight-loss will begin to come.
When weight loss begins to come we noticed these changes that are taking place in the way we think. We find that negative thoughts we once had about ourselves and about life begins to slowly roll off our shoulders.
Frustration we once had slips away and soon you have a NEW found freedom from junk food.
So take out a piece of paper as you read this blog and listen to the video. Once you are serious enough to do so, I encourage you to write down thoughts by answering to these vital questions.
If I was to spend time with you in a private coaching session what would you rather have me do? Go over all the foods that you should eat or junk food you should not eat? Or would you rather talk about personal experience and how to GROW in your faith and CHANGE to be STRONGER on the inside? WHY?
Well what’s more important than just tracking food or tracking your calories would be to track what your thoughts are when it comes to your weight-loss goals. Write about the very things that are happening in your life all around you. Write your temptations, triumphs and feelings.
Strategy # 1 How do you estimate what is self-worth?
You need to examine your self worth. Do you value who you are? How and Why? This is how...it’s when you discover God’s deep love for you. . God wants to spend time with you and the only way to discover how much he loves you is by putting aside “special” time to worship him alone and enjoy that fellowship with him. Then of course reading the Bible and I suggest writing a bible verse or two to meditate on. Write your own daily devotional. As for prayer you can sing your prayers to God and be filled with the Holy Spirit through worship music.
My suggestion today is for you to get in your closet with God, be it in your car or a walk in the county and listen to a song entitled “WHO AM I”. (more than once) Then write a few thoughts and feelings that you came to during your time with him. Write a prayer or whatever comes to you and this is how to stop eating junk food for good by exercising your faith.

Today’s question is: are you being passive and feeling stuck? Or do you find yourself being aggressive or perhaps even obsessed when it comes to taking care of yourself and how you think of yourself? Let’s do a bible study together to see how we can improve in our weight loss program in a more Godly fashion.
Most people are not even aware of or recognize either one of the symptoms. So to be one who is passive is one who is lacking to be active. We lack the desire to move forward and do something when we feel stuck.
Then for others we are always feeling that way not good enough and so we overly do things in such away. All we are so focused on the pain of something that we’re trying to overcome that we try to much of everything or we give into too much of everything.
God‘s word clearly teaches us to be alert and cautious. When we read in 1 Peter 5:8, we are told to fan the flame and stir up the gift that God has given us within. We read this in 2 Timothy 16. So often we don’t do what we should do if we don’t feel like doing it and if I don’t feel like doing it, then I don’t. When we find ourselves empty it’s because we have a passive mind and we can be easily filled with all kinds of wrong thoughts which lead to wrong actions.That’s why we need to approach our weight loss through the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.
One of the best outward examples that we can use is physical exercise and of course by the way that we choose to eat. That even means beginning when we’re at the grocery store. Our choices for a healthy diet is important to enjoy the beautiful life as a christian woman that God wants you to have.
I can honestly tell you that these types of behaviors were both me. Especially when it came time to look at the weekly sales at the grocery store. I loved finding the bargains especially when it came to seasonal treats my number one was ice cream when the warm summer days have arrived. Others were when Thanksgiving came and went to months came rolling around making choices eating sweet smelling treats.
The good news is the condition of being passive when it comes to what we eat and how we take care of ourselves can be overcome. The first step to overcoming in action is to overcoming a passive mind. We start by asking God to change our thinking to be more like his. Let me put it another way you will not change your behavior until you change your thoughts and only God, can change your thinking. It’s your choice to start asking him to change you.
Our goal is to set our minds on the things that are above and ask God for an increase of the ALL things that we lack. For example, I ask God for a deeper desire to pray, read the bible and pray for others. It might be to ask God to teach me to be more forgiving and more giving.
I can tell you first hand at the major part of my thinking is negative but God can fill our minds with power thoughts and our decisions can then be based on what’s best for a life and what he wants for us.
Doing less than the best we can means that we are short changing ourselves. We miss the satisfaction that comes when we are willing to stretch ourselves as far as we can go. We also missed the opportunity to exceed former limits because with Faith there is no limit. The more we do the more we find that we are able to do.
Long lasting motivation comes from a power greater than ourselves and that is through the power of the Holy Spirit. Thinking and planning has their place, but it is action which generates fresh enthusiasm and new insight. TAKE ACTION! I created this healthy diet for Christian women. Yes, YOU!
God’s word tells us in Isaiah 55:8-9

I find it interesting that God refers to himself as food, don't you? In today's world we see how the process of man is destroying one of our most common foods, BREAD. As a results people are getting sick from high blood sugar and all sorts of digestive problems. The good news is there are many options we just have to seek the Holy Spirit for guidance in this area.
Below you will read how Jesus is using a natural human idea to convey a spiritual thought. He’s saying to us that what bread (or food) is to the body, the Word of God is to the spirit, or the heart, of man. In John 6:51 "I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."
Isaiah 55:2 "
Wherefore do ye spend money for [that which is] not bread? and your labor for [that which] satisfies not? Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye [that which is] good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness."
“Not bread”: This is the “bread of deceit or self-satisfaction” (Prov. 20:17),
In John 6:41 The bread, spoken of here, is that bread which is the flesh of Jesus. Did you know he was the Manna that fell from heaven when the people complained and murmured at God, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven."
The natural bread feeds your body of flesh. God's Bread fills your soul and spirit. The very presence of God sets you free from thinking about destructive thoughts. We are taken from focusing only on ourselves to focusing on someone outside of ourselves. By contrast when we eat physical food we are only thinking about satisfying a temporary need and it's our own need.
We do not need to over feed our bodies, we need to over feed our spirit. As we grow in the Holy Spirit we will SEE REAL CHANGE. God will bless you abundantly in ways you could never imagine. Start Growing by consuming the "BREAD OF LIFE" and let God breathe "NEW LIFE" into your bones again!

what causes late night sugar cravings and how to stop them
Hey, let me start by asking you this. So have you ever fallen victim to the most crushing of all cravings? For me it was always, always, yup always the comforting late-night binge. It had to be something sweet, like dark chocolate, ice cream and maybe an ice cream cookie.
Trust me, I’ve been there. Night time eating was my weakest time of day, for years and YEARS. It’s so easy to crave sugary tasty treats at the end of the day. I just wanted to have a little something, and i would basically throw my hands up in the air and promise myself to "start again tomorrow." I would be thinking..."You go girl, you can do your "killer" workout tomorrow to make up for it. But what happens when the same thing happens the very next day?
Here's the thing! All we need is to understand why late-night overeating happens, start taking the steps to set yourself free, and know what to do should those desperate moments ever hit you. Chances are they will for a while again and again.
After doing a great workout, and faithfully eating my gorgeous salads' and taking care of the kids, I just wanted to sit back and relax and enjoy my "goodie-goods". After all eating is fun isn't it? I never found myself stopping in my tracks to ask what is really causing my late night sugar cravings.
So here came the voices. "yum, yum, yum". Oh no, not again, It’s that "monster under my bed, and i can't get him out of my head again." Yup he thinks just like me. Are you kidding me, afraid of the Cookie Monster? Yes, I fear craving that sweet temptation and hearing voices that only seem to come out at night. Not again, I can't stand that pesky voice telling me. "oh common, just have 2 cookies and a nice glass of cold milk." You deserve it! Yum Yum!
Sadly, at night when my mind was tired, i was always so weak and vulnerable. Eating anything after 8 pm is just way too late in the day to go into "burn it off"...mode "but then I would tell myself - yah-yah, but I will sleep like a baby...
So, what causes these late night sugar cravings anyway. UNDERSTAND THIS ~ Our bodies adapt to the amount of energy and the amount of sustenance they’re given. If we don’t get enough of what we need, then gradually our bodies get messed up and everything gets out of balance. If we eat too many calories, we store them as fats. If we consume too much sugar, we become less sensitive to insulin…HERE"S WHAT I EAT TO STOP THOSE NASTY CRAVINGS!
All forms of bad carbs are addictive and not just white refined sugar. Foods that are processed and refined release glucose quickly which cause spikes blood-sugar. When the blood sugar spikes, it then crashes and then your body will CRAVE more. So, when the glucose spikes, know that is a bad thing in more ways than one and Satan is on the hunt to make you sick and depressed! Don't let another night sabotage your efforts!

Bible Study for Weight Loss To Change Negative Thoughts....
This bible verse is from a teaching from the Joyce Meyers battlefield of the mind Bible, "where the mind goes the man follows." I like how she states this truth. Wherever we allow our minds to drift that is the direction we choose to live in. We live in a dark place when we choose to let our minds carry us off by over thinking too much.
If we focus only on negative things of ourselves then will end up living a negative life. We allow ourselves to be STUCK in a place that is less than desirable. We let everything bother us (or we are too quick to only see the BAD and we voice our poor thoughts and opinions to be the center of negative conversation. This is NOT GOOD.
We soon find ourselves losing our joy and we lose our way in life as we choose to see each circumstance as nothing but misery – and it all started with our own thinking. My Mom used to call it, "waking up on the wrong side of the bed". Today everyone is quick to call it, "STRESSED OUT and I've had many of those days.
I like how Joyce Meyers refers to our negative thinking, she calls it “ our stinking think”n”. So to put it another way if we want to live a positive life we learn that our thoughts and our focus become what we think. God wants our minds to be filled with positive beautiful healthy thoughts. The more we focus on those things that God wants us to think about the more readily we can defeat Satan and the unhealthy practice of overeating, junk food eating and binge eating foods that we know will harm us.
So if you found yourself thinking of ice cream, pastries, candy and donuts know that it’s just the devil that wants you and I to fall into temptation to make us get sad and sick. This is a REALLY good example of how mood and food are connected to our faith! This is the "CORE TEACHING" of Conquer Cravings For Christians.
Question is how can you change "misery" to become more of a melody in your heart? The answer is spend time "Soul Searching". In Psalm 77:6 We read, I will remember my song in the night; I will meditate with my heart, and my spirit ponders. Notice some important words here. In the first section (remember my song) I believe the gift of music is extremely powerful. Here's why!
Worship Music is a form of prayer and makes the spirit soar and carries us away from ourselves. When our spirit is being upheld with heavenly thoughts we are being transformed into the likeness of Jesus. This is a state of being humble. Also, music is very repetitive and it only makes sense that by listening to a message repetitively, that, the message will manifest itself in our mind.
The second section states; meditate WITH my heart. Most folks who have no faith claim that meditation is silence or a space between 2 worlds. Meditation is useless if we only practice a state of relaxation. This practice does not allow me to learn, grow and change. In fact, God instructs us to meditate (pray) for that very reason. To Learn of ourselves, to learn of his ways, to trust and to grow from our hardships and challenges and change as he REVEALS truth (wisdom) in our hearts. Without truth there is no change.
Begin your day by inviting worship music and prayer into your life. Remember to SING a song of PRAISE and truth. Take time to write your feelings and pray to ask God to RENEW A RIGHT SPIRT within you.
