So in this video I want to tell you the top tips of the week that I use to give up sugar so you can stop craving so you can lose weight! OK, Here are 5 tips to work on this week as a detox.
My number one tip to stop craving sugar is eat oatmeal for breakfast. Why am I so big on oatmeal? The answer is because it will stabilize blood sugar and stabilize the need of feeling hungry due to the slow release process in the body.
This is your most important food you should plan on including because of your need for fuel when you are active. I like oatmeal in many forms. For example I like eating oatmeal as granola cereal but it needs to be homemade not processed full of sugar and fat. I also love eating oatmeal ground up as flour to make muffins for breakfast to stop craving sugar throughout the day.
On the lighter side you can put one or 2 tablespoons of cooked oatmeal or dried oatmeal in a protein shake along with some nut butter as your breakfast for a quick and healthy option to keep you satisfied and to keep those sugar cravings away.
So stay away from pre-packaged cereals and process cereals and bread because they are the number one reasons why you and I crave sugar and junk food throughout the day. Every time we eat junk food, the body just wants more. Ever hear the term, “junk food junkie”?
Another sugar detox tip that I used to quit eating sugar is eating fruit in the morning particularly those that are in the higher density fruit. For an example eat your bananas fresh pineapple and fresh apples in the morning. These fruit are full of nutrients giving your body more energy to carry you later on throughout the day.
